We have been showered with fame and glory! Our customer Ravintoraisio has won the first ever Product Information Master award from GS1 Finland for their excellent product information management (PIM). Our rock band helped Raisio set up and integrate their product information system, so the credit our customer is due for their excellent work partly reflects on us too… and we’re glowing with pride.
Award-winning product information management
GS1 Finland is a non-profit, non-aligned organisation owned by the Finnish Grocery Trade Association and Central Chamber of Commerce. Its task is to develop and manage the most common standards in product information and identification, the best examples of which are EAN barcodes. The required criteria for winning the Product Information Master award are that the company is, for example, using GS1 Finland’s Synkka product information service, that the information is up-to-date, high-quality, and that it has been saved in a consistent and comprehensive way. The company must also be the ones to make sure the product information is always updated. Read more in the GS1 release here.
Raisio’s award-winning PIM runs on the Akeneo system set up by our rock group. It automatically updates the product information across Synkka and other channels – such as the Ravintoraisio website. The system improves the quality and consistency of the product information in different channels and by bringing it all to one place. You can read a more detailed description of our work with Raisio in our blog.
What’s there to do but to celebrate! Congratulations once more Ravintoraisio, it’s an honour to work together with you on your PIM!
P.S If you want your product information to be at an award-winning level, it’s worth asking our manager Matti for a demo.
